Martin and Miss C woke me up with two very big, very excited smiles.
When I asked what was going on, he said, “We made you crap!”
Confused, I asked if he was being sarcastic. He looked offended and said, “No, really. We made you some crap. Come on.”
The kitchen smelled very good and I quickly realized the real deal. They made me CREPES.
It was just his accent that threw me off. The day was pretty laid back, but I’ll never forget my first Mother’s Day, when I got the best crap ever.
