Unfortunately, I don’t have a “before” photo of myself because I wasn’t expecting to lose 14 pounds in 7 weeks while Martin was gone. The truth is that I only started going to the gym so often for the Kids Club. Seriously — dropping off the kids into a supervised room full of toys that I don’t have to pick up or clean is very appealing.
I swear. THAT was/is my motivation.
But here’s the photo of me from today, wearing pants — with a belt! — in a size I haven’t worn since Jaz was born.
If I can keep up the pace, it’s reasonable to expect that by the time Martin comes home from tech school in June, I could be wearing the size I was wearing before I was pregnant with Miss C … which was the size I was wearing in high school. *gasp* Whaaa….???
Oh, I just remembered … I may not have a photo, but I have VIDEO from the day Martin left. Sure, the camera adds 10 pounds, and angles and all that jazz, but for the sake of comparison …
I either run on the treadmill or do the Precor elliptical/stairclimber-thing for 30-45 minutes for cardio, then about 30 minutes of strength training. Weight Watchers for the diet part of it.
