A Day in DC

1:14 a.m. – I’m not the only night owl around here.

8:45 a.m. – This giant moth (above) was hanging outside my car window this morning.

9:30 a.m. – A perk of all of us squeezed in my Honda as Martin drove me to work this morning? Being able to easily watch as Mr Incredible taught his son JackJack how to fly…

10:47 a.m. – If a worker is singing along with her early’90s playlist in a nearly-vacant office setting, does she really make a sound? #deepthought

3:30 p.m. –  Just a reminder that this will be happening two hours from now! Matthew Jordan Smith and I will be having a Twitter conversation about his book, and he’ll be answering questions about photography in general, working in Hollywood, how he got his start, his fave photography equipment, techniques, tricks of the trade, etc.

If you have a Twitter account, go ahead and tweet us your questions now! Use the hashtag ‪#‎FPchat2014‬ so he can see ’em.

4:30 p.m. – “My Girl” is playing in the coffee shop. Makes me sentimental and missing my girl Miss C. 🙂

5:09 p.m. – Got my drink & setting up shop for my #FPchat2014 w/ Matthew Jordan Smith! We’ll start in about 20 minutes. 🙂

7 p.m. – First time seeing the Silver line train on here (below). How different my life would have been had that been around 10 years ago when I lived two minutes from the *new* Wiehle-Reston stop. Heh!

My oldest hanging out with her baby cousin during her solo vacation with family in Ohio. Ever the big sister, eh? 🙂 Photos courtesy of Aunt Jill.
