Thanksgiving in the Alps

We spent Thanksgiving in the Austrian Alps this year. Actually, we spent the day going up and down an alpine coaster three times in a row!

It’s snowing like crazy up here, but we had a blast. Even if we were freezing cold.

We did have an American-style Thanksgiving feast, which we prepared back at our apartment. We call this “Austrian turkey” … also known as roast chicken from the supermarket.

Special shout-out to Patches der Hund for ensuring there were no messy scraps left on the floor.

We passed this statue during our travels today. It is Saint Christopher, carrying the whole world on his shoulders. He’s also the patron saint of travelers.
